So...warmly welcome to the blog on the subject of Figurative language and task was given by Dr. Dilip barad sir.

     Ivor Armstrong Richards

British poet and scholar. He was the pioneer in the domain of New Criticism.

He was an English educator His works are:

1. The Meaning of Meaning – 1923

2. The Principles of Literary Criticism – 1924

3. The Practical Criticism – 1929.

    Mostly he talks about four kinds of           misunderstanding:

 1.Misunderstanding of the sense of poetry: Careless, Intuitive reading

    2.Over-Literal reading: prosaic reading

   3.Defective scholarship; inappropriate metaphor

   4. Difference in meaning of words in poetry and prose ( personification, Metaphors, etc.....)

So here I'm going to applying the method which is as above 👆👆...and we are free to take lyrics in any kind of language so Here's these....

So as we talk about this song 🎶 there's a role of Amitabh Bachan and Jaya bhaduri loving and married couple....they recorded a love and melodies song in movie where's they worked as singers and also they realesd their feelings while recording the song as well....with the lyrics. Originally the song is in lata mangeshkar's and Manhar udas's voice.

        Film from Abhimaan movie and Directed by  Hrishikesh Mukherjee in the time of 19's (1973).

∆ problems of misunderstanding in song:-

   

    So here in the song there's a talk about romentic lyrics like according to lovers. And as we all know we can't understand the any kind of things or a persona with first attempt so as like here used a metaphor language.

       

"लूटे कोई मन का नगर बन के मेरा साथी"....this first line make a first confusion with the starting point. There's a impossible about Mann ka nagar....so the initial word is out of range so the further line is but Obvious out of thinking.

"मेरे मन का चोर " An English translation "The thief of Heart"....i don't think so it's a possible.

So....let's done a next example according these👆👆👆

ઉપર લખાયેલા લીરીક્સ "મન મેળો" "શરતો લાગુ" ફિલ્મ માંથી લેવાય છે. જસલીન રોયલ અને સિદ્ધાર્થ અમિત ભાવસાર દ્વારા ગીત. આ ફિલ્મનું નિર્દેશન નીરજ જોશીએ કર્યું છે. તે 25 Octoberક્ટોબર 2018 ના રોજ રજૂ કરવામાં આવી હતી.

"મન મેળો, મન મેળો " બસ આજ લઈને થી શરૂઆત થાય છે. મૂંઝવણ...... કે મન નો મેળો આ કઈ રીતે સ્વીકાર માં આવે.અહીંયા મન ના મંદ ઠેકાણાં હોય છે એમાં મન નો મેળો.

જાહોજલાલી છે બિચારા દિલમાં રે....જાહોજલાલી એ પણ દિલ ને અને દિલ પણ બિચારું...

ભીની ભીની યાદ કોઇ again a metaphor for understanding the concept.

So, as we conclude that the metaphor is making a huge role in literature and it's been a part of the convening and understand the meaning which is actually taken. So here I'm simply try to understand that the metaphor language is not a bad.
