1) GLOBALIZATION AND ON@CC:

WHAT IS GLOBALIZATION ? • “ Globalization is a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations, a process driven by international trade and investment and aided by information technology”

EFFECT ON LITERATURE… • In the twenty first century, one cannot think of any branch of knowledge without making a reference to Globalization, which has influenced language, literature, social sciences, service sectors and what not. Literature is a product of the thoughts and interactions of different social, political, economic and religious institutions. As the society changes, literature also changes in the way of expressing its themes, techniques, and the modes of awareness. (Nikam and Nikam)

Indian English literature is influenced by the global changes. Indian English literature in a way is a global product, if we think about the language of expression is English language. And English is known as Global language. Many Indian writer stared writing in English. Write about globalization. In the book of some writer like Arvind Adiga and Chetan Bhagat, there is reflection of globalization in their works. Impact on Indian literature
Chetan Bhagat is such a potential novelist who considers it his responsibility to appeal the young generation in India by writing a novel based on the call center, which is a gift of globalization. Although call center is considered as a boon for India which is facing the problem of unemployment. Highlights the influence of call center, which is a child of globalization, on the personal, social, moral, intellectual and cultural relations of the call center employees. The Title it self is deep symbol of Globalization.

2) SELF HELP AND ON@CC:

There are many characters in the novel like male and female they earn and collect money for their elite life. to compare there self with others. To stood there self with society.
Like Vroom want to live good life and earn more. like Esha she is BA completed and earn by self to done B.Ed.
Like Miletry uncle he earned because there were no sufficient pension.

Bhagat begins his novel with three questions and urges the readers to focus on them and answer the questions most honestly. The questions are-

It seems that the author is helping us to allow ourselves to know our fears and to overcome it. He is insisting us to share discuss our private and difficult problems. It provides us with a sense of community. Self-help can mean two different things. On the one hand, it’s simply a way of reading, a deliberately unsystematic pursuit of life lessons: The reader might glean wisdom from any kind of book, dipping in and casting aside according to her own preferences and needs.
Self-help in some way, can be said as phony literature. It claims that by reading the self-help book people will discover the secrets of life but  Micki McGee rightly observes, "No one, try as they may, can invent themselves".

3) POPULAR LITERATURE AND ON@CC

Popular literature can also be known as Pulp Fiction or dramedy. Times have witnessed a quirky boundary between what we study as 'high brow literature' with elevated style and form and what we consider as market-driven that clearly demarks two genres of literature. One can be classified as serious and implicit literature whereas the other lacks assumed seriousness and are explicit - popular literature. Bhagat's 2005 novel deals with contemporary issues and problems of today's youth. This blog is designed as a worksheet which attempts to discuss some worthy points assigned by our professor under the course of 'The New Literature'.

Thank You
