Zebra

         They have a wide range in east and southern Africa. The usually live in treeless Grassland and sayanna Woodland and are absent from deserts, rainy forests and wetlands. This species habitat is shrinking, however and they are how extinct in Burundi and Leostho.

       Zebra are famously stripy members of the horse family.This distinctive creatures are native to Africa. Actually consist of three different species. The plain Zebra is the most common. The largest is the grevy's Zebra and the last species is the mountain zebra.

       Zebra have a black fur with white stripes and predominantly white bellies. Their feet are capped with a singular,hard roof ,which packs a punch when kick the predators. They have a large rounded ears with lots of hair to keep dust out of them. That tail has long black hair that begins approximately middle down the tail, white the top is striped.

        Zebra are beautiful,  hardy creatures that are built for survival in harsh environments.These captivating creature can take on a line. But are being threatened by human activity. 

      Zebras are exclusively herbivores. Meaning that they only eat plants. Their diet is almost entirely made up of glasses, but they also eat leaves. Bark, shrubs and more. They spand most of the time to grazing on grasses.

     Zebra do not make good pets for the average person. They requmuch more handling and desentization thanthe average horse and can be more temperament only experienced handle and care of zebra.

       Female zebra can have one calf per year. Their gestation period is around 360-365 days long, depends on the species.  The mother will protect her calf. This is especially impotent.  Zebra can live up to 20 years in wild and up to almost 40 years in zoos.
